After a long stretch of travelling, Dad was ready to holiday! Mom and Dad had reserved a holiday retreat back in October on the southern beaches of Victoria just for this reason.......as well as Nana and Papa arriving to spend the holidays with us. They arrived Thursday and we left Friday for the beach. A great time was guaranteed to be had by all! We've seen Kookaburras, Australian King Parrots, sulphur crested cockatoos, crimson rosellas, koalas and wallabies to name a few....all around the house!
As the pictures show, it is tough to experience Christmas in Australia! We hear it is a bit cooler back in the pacific northwest of the US. These pictures should warm you all up!

Ahh, those pics certainly make the snow here in Seattle seem distant, at least for a second. How fun!! I hope you all have an excellent holiday--Aussie style! We can't wait for more pics!!
