We are fairly certain that given our Queenslander's visit last week, we've been inundated with water. Yesterday and today, we had all-time highs of rainfall (20mm yesterday and 15 today). With all that precip, our creek through the property has been running higher than we've ever seen. So, we took some great shots this afternoon to attest to that. Bodie took Maddy and Bren out to explore the flooding. As the water took over land parcels, many mice, gophers and other critters came from their holes. Pepper (the blue heeler) and Howie (Rottweiler) had a field day consuming near-drowning rodents as they came up for air. One of the photos is from Pepper proudly displaying her catch. She took nearly 30 and Howie took in 6. Fair dinkum!
Other than that, baseball, baseball and more baseball. We bought new bats for everyone yesterday as well as batting gloves. We expect big things from games this week. That is if we can squeeze in some play between downpours.
Great hearing from folks these past few days. Does look like we will be there in September for work (Brisbane) and early October for holiday (Victoria). All are looking forward to getting there for the Grand Final. Of course Maddy was quite excited about the 106-102 topping of the Blues on Saturday. Go Hawks!

Wow! The Kuna River. Too bad Australia didn't have all that a couple months ago! That must have been a sight to behold - the little critters floating downriver!
Send it over, still very dry with little or no rain since you left and temps still between 16-20 degrees.... not normal for this time of year
Luv Wendy
