Pottery (again) and Boomerangs!

Of course as shareholders, we couldn't pass on opportunities to manipulate mud, so off we went to Bendigo Pottery again. All good; Dad glazed a hop mug, er, cup, Mum and Mad climbed on the Potter's Wheel and threw clay and attempted bowls, while Cam and Bren literally threw clay at each other and other willing participants. We are now majority shareholders.
We continued on our Spring Break tour with a visit to Wycheproof Boomerangs for a bit of true Aussie lore. Wycheproof is a small country town in Victoria, Australia. Wycheproof Boomerangs began in 1973 by Bernard Read (Bunny) in Wycheproof. Bunny had been throwing boomerangs for 13 years before commencing business making his own. A great time had by all as we watched the children methodically stalk and take out one another on the throwing fields. All fun and games until someone took out Mum! She recovered, but questioned paying full price.

Dear Heather and family.
So great to get some news from you all. Received the post card today (10/25 and had to jump on the computer to say hello and check out your photos. It is getting colder here, but we are teased with nice weather now and again.
The children are really enjoying school this year and I am enjoying a little free time.
Looks like you are all having lots of adventures which is great. Can't wait for all the stories.
Nick misses Brendon and Cameron. Natalie can't wait for Maddy to come home to play.
Take care.
