The Captain arrived a bit rough, but Sharon and Crystal were ravishing; nothing new in that descriptor I suppose! It had been a long time coming, but the Warnes arrived and spent five days with us which involved events centered around fire (national fire center and Kuna fire department), shopping, Bogus Basin ski resort, Snake River, horseback riding, taking in Maddy's softball game and Mother's Day brunch at Papa Joes! On a stunning note, Bill demanded he take the wheel as we drove up the mountain to the ski resort as well as down to the Snake River. We were all quite surprised we survived......a first for him driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Excellent job mate!
The weather was a bit on the fresh side, but it did not hinder any of our efforts of a good time and catch-up. Bill had a bit of a hard time putting down a good micro brew, but give him a good cold Hamms (equivalent to a VB I suppose) and he can follow up with 11 more. Take special note of the Captain's equine skills in some of the photos..........our stomachs are still hurting!
We had a great time Bill, Sharon and Crystal! We miss you and look forward to seeing you soon!
The Shaws.
