Holidaying in the Southwest US

Sorry for not posting more often.....our camera lost some key components. I guess over time, we all do! No worries.

Kids are on school holidays here perfecting lego construction, motorbike racing, piano/fiddle playing, bodily harm and swimming! We still haven't quite finished unpacking from OZ, but should by the time we get back from OZ in October we reckon. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone again......only two months away!

We've had a slow start to the US fire season.....but Bodie is not complaining!

We took a week-long holiday last week to Colorado, via Idaho and Utah for a family reunion. A bit hot (upper 30s) but well worth the 3,000 kilometer excursion in the caravan. Much of the SW US looks a bit like parts of Victoria and the Northern Territories (dry yet some beautiful picturesque vistas). Over 33 hours in the car; thank goodness for DVD players! We will post those pictures on our next post.
