Transitioning Back To America....Still

Going through motions as well as withdrawals. Bodie has been riding to work on the motorcycle......in the mornings it has been 1 deg C. a bit fresh indeed. Still getting snow on and off as well. Had a -6 the other night.

Getting back to farming as well: corrugating, disking, fertilizing and spraying. Irrigation water comes in this weekend and we are getting pipes laid out taking out gophers (rodents that the dogs and cats love to consume).

The kids are transitioning well to school and sports. Just not the same feeling as heading to Eppalock (and the walks) and Axedale kinder w/Jess and Meredith. Speaking of sports, it was quite funny last week when we headed back to baseball; as Brendan headed to the plate to take his first at bat he assumed the cricket batsman stance. Everyone (including the coach) was wondering what was going on....mom and dad knew what was going on.....Bodie was yelling, "get the bat up!". We explained to curious onlookers that Bren had been playing cricket for a few months and just slipped his mind! He was a bit embarrassed but put the bat on the shoulders and whacked the ball American style!

We have enjoyed the calls immensely from everyone as well as the care packages (thanks Gallaghers!). We also sent out a bunch of our own care packages......should be arriving soon to y'all!
