Dad was headed off again this week for work. This time to the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra, the Washington DC of Australia. We toured while Dad worked, except on Melbourne Cup Day where we headed to New South Wales and the beach at Batemans Bay. Another highlight was being in Canberra and the U.S. Embassy during the election of Barrack Obama. It was quite exciting to see and hear all the attention paid to America during this election. It seemed like the whole entire world celebrated! We all thought it would be fun to tag along with Dad for the week....you be the judge! Love, Maddy.
