Maddy, Bren and Cam sported new Essendon Bomber footy gear yesterday. Yes, of course it was Footy Day! In honor of the last day of school yesterday (Spring Break) and the last two weekends of Australian Football League (Grand Final), school was oriented around footy and other fun and games. The first shot is from last night's preliminary Final between the defending Champions Geelong and Hawthorne (Geelong won). The kids pix show some of the fun as well as other shots from their school. This Country, and probably more so the State of Victoria is absolutely crazy about their footy....much akin to the Super Bowl in the US. For more background on the AFL: www.afl.com.au
