After nearly 32 hours of mostly enjoyable travelling, we have made it to Axedale, Victoria. We left our US home (the Goodwins new domicile) at 11AM on Sunday August 24th and pulled into our AUS home at 12PM on Tuesday August 26th. We skipped entirely over Monday crossing the International Date Line......but what good comes from Mondays anyway?
These shots are from our departure in Boise. Nana, Papa and the Goodwins bid us farewell. We plan on spending a couple days adjusting our biological clocks as well as internal thermostats from NW US summer to SW AUS winter. Not bad so far!

It is great that you have been welcomed with some beautiful weather here, August was bitterly cold.

Wassssup! Are there any Famous Daves down under? I envy ya cause I think your next 6 months are going to be exciting. I'll check your blog occasionally just to make sure.
By the way, with Australia being at the bottom of the globe, is everything upside down?
